How To Join?

Personalised, Confidential Information is always a priority as a MedicAlert® member.

MedicAlert® Membership - As individual as you are.

Membership Information for New Members Only

Membership starts at $55.00 and includes: a customised non-allergenic engraved bracelet or necklet with your important medical information, special needs or request, member ID number and the 24hr emergency hotline number linked to a confidential national database attended by trained healthcare professionals. For additional protection, members also receive a 24hr emergency assist membership card that lists medications and the names and phone numbers of your doctor and emergency contacts. Sterling Silver, Gold Filled and Solid Gold emblems are also available at additional cost – See our Price List following.

For teenagers and active adults, there is also a sports bracelet with a black nylon band – great for outdoor or sporting activities.

Annually MedicAlert® will send you a copy of your membership file to ensure we have accurate and up-to-date information held on the national registry together with a reminder to keep your record financial by paying an Annual Subscription of $20.00 (gst inclusive).

2. Follow the Easy Steps listed on the Application Form.

3. Medical Authentication - Optional - Your immediate protection is our priority and MedicAlert® understands that obtaining doctor/authorised healthcare provider signature to authenticate your medical information may not be convenient at time of joining and is not required for membership enrolment.

4. Post completed application form and payment to GPO Box 9963 in your capital city OR free-fax to 1800 643 259.

5. Please allow approximately 10 working days for delivery.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds due to the customised engraving.

Adjustments

A small fee is applicable for any adjustments to chains or expanda bands.

Annual Subscription

Annually you receive a copy of your record along with a reminder to keep your record up to date and financial by paying your Annual Subscription $20.00 (gst inclusive).

Donations

As a non-profit organisation MedicAlert® welcomes and appreciates donations which assist in maintaining our professional awareness programmes and provides memberships to those unable to afford the membership fee. All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible.
