Many so-called identification emblems, wallet cards and devices have attempted to duplicate the success of our system by using medical sounding names attempting to imply similarity with the MedicAlert® service. Most are associated with profit making organisations. Some pre-engraved “medical” or “ID” bracelets found in some pharmacies are not backed-up by the identification and information service that MedicAlert® provides, nor are they linked to a 24hr Emergency Response Centre.
MedicAlert® should not be confused with the home security “push button” alarm systems which provide protection within the home environment, however, once outside this location the signal may not be activated, leaving you at risk!
MedicAlert®’s protection is unrestricted, accessible anywhere, everywhere, at any time.
The right to die with dignity is recognised by the Foundation.
Please contact the Foundation to discuss and arrange for the appropriate forms to be sent and registration held on our database. Standard MedicAlert® membership is automatically included in all registrations.
